We run a brush plating workshop dedicated to repairing large, heavy or hard-to-remove machinery components, working directly on the damaged area. The result is neat, precise and ready to refit, restoring your component to working order.

We work to three principles: quality, precision and on-time delivery.
Think of painting a wall with a brush instead of dipping the whole house in paint. The principle is the same: plating solution is carried by a cloth-wrapped electrode to the target metal surface, with current supplied by a rectifier.
Dimensions lost to friction can be rebuilt with added plating, so you keep the expensive component.
Rusted or leaking areas are cleaned and re-plated, bringing the contact surface back to flat.
Tin or silver plating keeps joints conductive and resistant to oxidation.
If it will not fit in a tank, brush plating can still reach the section that needs work.
A small defect or scratch in one spot does not mean re-plating the whole surface.
No full teardown and no waiting in an immersion line, so machines get back to work sooner.
Not sure which plating suits your part? Send a photo and the working conditions, and we will help you choose.
Four stages, from inspection to a part that is ready to use.
The surface is cleaned and activated so the plating bonds firmly.
Chemical treatment removes remaining contamination and oxides.
Plating with solution and current matched to the base material.
The result is inspected before it is handed back to you.

We use rectifiers with voltage and current controls that read clearly on the panel, cloth-wrapped graphite electrodes, and cables and clamps for a range of component shapes.
Need brush plating equipment for your own workshop? We also supply plating equipment and chemicals.
